Bye Bye BlackBerry

I'm finally done with my BlackBerry Pearl. It is hands down -- the worst phone -- I've ever owned. It's been nothing but a pain in the ass since the day I got it. The software on the thing just sucks. The memory was awful. I had to delete all text messages, emails and browsing history several times daily just so it would work. I couldn't use applications because they took up too much room. I bought a memory card to store all my media on, but that didn't help. For the first year it would delete my text messages and call log before I even got it. I had no way to know who was trying to get a hold of me. It would freeze on speaker phone while I was trying to make a call, which made it impossible to make a call anywhere quiet or public. I can't even think of one thing I liked about it. The trackball regularly got "stuck" which would require cleaning it with rubbing alcohol until it moved again. The pictures were bad quaility. The keyboard is too small. The predictive text is a joke. (I did get quite few good laughs at the sentences this phone would type. It cracked me up.) Anyway...I will not miss this phone. Not for one second.

Verizon is lucky I love them because I shouldn't trust them ever again after selling this phone. However, I'm not going anywhere, and I am now the proud owner of the LG enV Touch. I have no idea how to use it, but the plan costs less, and I think I'm gonna like it.

Now, come on Verizon, get the iPhone already!
