Trader Joe's Spicy Jalapeño Chicken Sausage Pasta


As a pasta fanatic, I'm always looking for new and healthy versions of my favorite dish. I recently made chicken sausage pasta and it was delicious. If you like sausage in your pasta, you have to try this! It was quick, easy and bit healthier than most recipes.





What you will need...

-Organic, whole grain pasta

-Mixed veggies (spinach, tomato, onion, zucchini and squash is what I used)

-Chicken Sausage from Trader Joe's (my only complaint about this delicious food is that it's not organic).

-Organic olive oil with garlic (3.99 at Trader Joe's).



What you will need to do...



Cook pasta according to directions. Sauté sausage in olive oil for 8-10 minutes over medium heat. Add veggies and continue to sauté until slightly browned. Drain and cold rinse pasta. Add pasta to the sausage, veggie and olive oil. You may need to add a bit more olive oil too. Cook over low to meduim heat as you stir in the pasta. Remove from heat after a minute or two.
