Prepare yourself to be grossed out!

Do you wanna hear something gross?

Anne and I absolutely love this dive-y Mexican restaurant in Newport. It’s called Rio Grande and it’s amazing. The food is cheap, the servings are enormous, the margaritas are strong and the chips and guacamole are fantastic. We’ve been going there on a regular basis for at least four years.

Earlier this summer Anne and her sister went to Rio and her sister found a maggot in her chicken something or other. That’s right, a maggot. Wanna hear the really gross part? It only took me three months to get over it, and after Anne tested the waters with work friends, I went back with her a few weeks ago. That’s how amazing this place is. Told ya it was gross…but some things like that you just can’t keep in!

I think we are gonna go there for dinner tonight…yum.
