It seems that my place of employment is always hosting some kind of physical fitness challenge. I usually don’t participate in these because they often seem like too much work. I don’t like logging how many minutes I exercise, how many times I take the stairs instead of the elevator and I am not interested in the biggest loser competitions.
But, this month, I joined my first fitness challenge: the 10 in 10 challenge.
It’s simple.
Lose 10 pounds in 10 weeks for a chance to win a gift card. That sounds like something I can do. The only problem is, I don’t know if I’ve ever really lost 10 pounds at once. I tend to lose about 8 and then gain back 3. So, here’s to actually losing 10 in 10 weeks. Wish me luck and feel free to send any motivation my way!
